Officers have charged a man in relation to an incident earlier this week

The 27-year-old impaired man from Rocanville, who had been found unconscious behind the wheel of a stolen Dodge Ram truck in the 1000 block of Wolfe Avenue on Tuesday night, has been named.

According to the Moose Jaw Police Service, Kiefer Hill has been remanded in custody and will be appearing in court on Monday, October 22nd.

Police have laid 10 charges against Hill, including impaired driving by way of drugs, refusal of DRE test, breach of undertaking (x3), possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5,000 (x4), possession of a firearm, careless storage of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle, and possession of a firearm obtained by the commission of an offence.

Hill also has numerous warrants for his arrest for similar offences from Saskatoon, Esterhazy, and Melville.

Police continue to investigate.
