Most of the High School grads worked hard to get good grades, but only a few receive the highest honour of Valedictorian.

Cyla Betker is that person at Riverview Collegiate this year.

She loved all of her classes and teachers, but one thing that really stood out was her involvement in an extra curricular program.

"The Life Skills program is a program for people with mental disabilities. They're basically just part of our group and they're just thrown into the mix. We all get along really well. There are kids with Down's Syndrome and Autism, and a whole bunch of other things. Basically we just included them in absolutely everything we do."

Betker said that she isn't in a hurry to decide what come next. She is going to work for a year and then see if it's going to school or something else.
