Friday afternoon the Moose Jaw Regional Heritage Fair Committee received a donation, supporting the experience students in grades 4-8 get when they compete in heritage Fairs.

The SaskTel Pioneers donated 500 to the organization,

Heather Rouscher is with the committee, she explained how it felt to receive the donation.

"It feels great. We are so appreciative of our sponsors. They help us plan a great day for the kids. The money they gave us allows us to plan for field trips, and different workshops the kids all participate in."

Kristian Sjoberg is with the Sasktel Pioneers.

"Well, it's great. We (Sasktel Pioneers) like donating to everything. We love supporting the kids and their education as we did with our book program earlier this year. It's another way for us to give back to the community and to the kids so they can have events for their educational benefit and for entertainment as well."

Rouscher added that her favorite part of heritage fair is the kids' excitement when they present their project.
