As we head into the final days of the federal election there has been a lot of talk about voters simply not caring about the election.  But a new report from Elections Canada shows a different story.

Advance Polls held on the weekend saw more than two million ballots filled out, up 34 percent from 2008 federal election.

Monday's poll actually set a one day record with over 800,000 voters making their mark.  We'll have to wait and see if that translates into more voters taking part or just more people that will be busy on election day, May 2nd.
