Being a part of Family Feud Canada would be a great experience for any family. But imagine doing it with your family..who you just met.

Moose Jaw residents Scott and Todd Marasse were given up for adoption at birth but over the summer recently reunited with their birth parents and siblings.

"Todd and I were adopted and we didn't know we had siblings until my brother did a DNA test and we had a match. We ended up connecting that way and met in the summer. It's a whole new family; mom, dad and the 3 siblings. We had a big BBQ and decided when Family Feud was coming that we should audition."

The group filmed an audition tape, attended an in-person audition in Regina and were selected to be flown out to Toronto to film next week.

Scott says the whole experience has been a whirlwind of emotions

"We film in Toronto December 2 with our new siblings; sister Pam, sister Teresa, brother Kelly and my twin brother Todd. We fly out December 1 and the actual show airs December 16. They've already been taping, so we don't know our exact air date, but it runs for 3 months."

The Canadian version will be hosted by comedian Gerry Dee, and each contesting family has the potential to win up to $30,000.

"Everybody is excited. To be reunited with family that you didn't know you had, and they didn't know they had, to get together – it was an instant connection. We've been visiting as much as we can every weekend, every get together, this opportunity is another chance for us to get together."
