Saskatchewan RCMP are warning residents of some poor counterfeit Canadian cash that is being passed off in the province.

Humboldt RCMP are reporting that the fake currency, that's supposed to be Canadian, has Chinese characters on them.

The bills are poor quality that feel like paper, rather than plastic, and have blue Chinese characters printed on them.

Close inspection of the bills will quickly expose them as being fake.

Anyone that comes across the bills is asked to contact local police.
