Country Thunder Saskatchewan in Craven Valley came to a close with a call to STARS air ambulance.

According to police the call was made at 12:40am Monday morning for a report of an unresponsive man, who had received care from police and onsite medical staff.

The man was transported to hospital and is reportedly still receiving treatment.

Meanwhile, RCMP say they responded to 135 calls this year up from 114 at the country music festival in 2016.

The Mounties say there was only one impaired driving charge laid over the weekend and that was in the surrounding area.

Last year, three people were charged with impaired driving at the country music festival.
