The rain continues to be a feature of the forecast as we march towards the last days of what's considered summer in Saskatchewan. Autumn officially arrives in just four days but the weather has been here for over a week.

We took in 5mm of rain to start the week, bringing us to 25 over the last few days and while that will bring some relief to the areas that desperately need rain, it's also causing harvest delays. Crops Extension Specialist with Saskatchewan’s Ministry of Agriculture Daphne Cruise explains the moisture can raise other concerns in the field.

"We haven't had a huge weather delay just yet but if it continues we could see things like sprouting in cereals, especially in the swathed crops."

More rain is expected at times Tuesday with some frost early Wednesday morning.
