Sunday, March 8th was International Women's Day and to celebrate, Radiant Skin Clinic hosted a luncheon and retreat at the Grant Hall

Over 100 people were in attendance to visit, have lunch and listen to special guest speakers and performers singer/songwriter Megan Nash, chiropractor and certified life coach Christine Majeran, funeral celebrant Della Ferguson, and author of 'Journey to Joy' Christalee Froese.

Amber Cameron is the Owner/Operator of Radiant Skin Clinic, she talks about what made them decide to host the gathering.

"It was our 10 year anniversary so we really wanted to do something for the community, we just wondered how we could celebrate this and give something back. At the same time as we were thinking about that, there was news that the Regina Sexual Assault Centre would be offering services to the Moose Jaw Transition House. We felt it was just the perfect match for our charity event."

"We were brainstorming on who to give this charity event money too, and then that article came out and we thought about all the sad stories we hear in our office. It was just an omen if you will, that we thought this was meant to be. We wanted something too that was predominantly a women's charity, so it was a perfect fit."

At the end of the day, nearly $6,100 was handed over to the MJ Transition House.
