Looking to do something outside the city on Canada Day?

Saskatchewan's provincial parks will be bustling with a variety of fun and free activities. Each park will celebrate Canada Day in its own way, and Buffalo Pound is no different. In the morning at 10 there will be a bicycle parade, where you can decorate your helmet and bike, and afterwards get a chance to make a Canada Day Craft. The cake will be served at 1 p.m, with face painting will take place in the afternoon. All activities are at Maple Vale Beach.

As well, at Douglas Provincial Park, Campers can start the day from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. with a free pancake breakfast at the Store By The Shore and take part in crafts at the Beach Picnic Shelter.

Check the provincial parks website for the latest activities.
