There was only one new case of COVID-19 reported in the province on Sunday, from the Far North Region.

Six people remain in hospital and there were no new recoveries, meaning that the total recoveries remain at 661.

104 cases are considered active.

Of the six patients in the hospital, three are in the north, two are in Saskatoon and one is in the south.  There are no COVID-19 patients currently in the ICU.

To date, 64,800 COVID‐19 tests have been performed in Saskatchewan. 

That puts the province's per capita testing rate at 48,342 people tested per one million population.  After leading the nation during the first days of the pandemic, Saskatchewan numbers now fall well behind, with the national average being 70,241 people tested per one million population.

A reminder that testing is available to anyone currently working outside the home or anyone returning to work as part of the Re-Open Saskatchewan plan.

Testing is also available to those being admitted to acute care for more than 24 hours as well as immunocompromised individuals and their health care providers.
