Do you have a good idea that should be implemented into plans for education within the province of Saskatchewan?

The provincial government is looking for select residents to step forward and share their input about the education sector, hoping to use the information in a framework policy that's currently being worked on.

“We want to hear from students, parents, educators, and school staff to better understand what they want for the future of education,” Deputy Premier and Education Minister Gordon Wyant said in a written release. “The new provincial education plan will ensure that our schools are on the right path to meet the needs of students as we look toward the next decade.”

The Ministry of Education has teamed up with various education partners with a mission to put together a plan for the 2020 school year and beyond. They noted that school divisions will also be reaching out to their parents and guardians to get information in a person to person format in the near future.

However, the province is asking anyone affiliated with the school division across the province to take their survey. The document is now open and taking public submissions, and the deadline to share your opinion is May 3rd.
