Moose Jaw's Valley View Centre will now be open until at least 2019. 

The provincial government announced Friday that in order to transition residents in a careful manner, the closure date has been moved to December of 2019. 

The government first announced the end of Valley View centre in 2012, saying the doors would close in 2016. 

Two years later that date was pushed back to March 31, 2018. 

The province also says a Vallew View Centre Evaluation is underway.
