Saskatchewan is getting a new agency to help in the fight against fentanyl and opioid deaths in the province.

The new task force will include police and health experts and be co-led by the Ministries of Justice and Health with representatives from the education, social services and
advanced education ministries.

The main focus will be on addressing opioid misuse and overdose but the province said it will also provide oversight on other drugs, including crystal meth.
