This past week two seperate workshops were held in Caronport as well as Moose Jaw by Little Warriors.

Little Warriors is an organization, which was brought in by the Partners Against Violence Committee, and they shared information during a one day workshop called 'Prevent It!', to one day hopefully put an end to child sexual abuse.

"We want to make people aware of what it is because children are best protected when they are surrounded by adults who are educated and vigilant, meaning that this needs to be on your radar," explained Facilitator, Denise Eger. "Be careful and watch for possible dangers, and we must be prepared to take action and be prepared to take action responsibly and know how to respond to abuse when a child has disclosed it."

One group who hit the highway to attend were the members of the Bikers Against Child Abuse group's Saskatchewan Chapter, who wanted to information to be able to bring back to their members.

"Being a member... we deal with a few heroes that are involved with Little Warriors, and we decided to come see so that we could bring it to our Chapter in Saskatoon," said Turnup.

Sgt. Tim Schwartz with the RCMP is a member of the Partners Against Violence committee and believes these sometimes difficult conversations need to happen.

"We felt that it was important to have parents, educators, that kind of target group to come out and gain that information," said Sgt. Schwartz.

All of the attendees were given booklets to work through and shown picture books that could be used as tools to start the conversation with their child.
