Moose Jaw Police investigated a pair of young drivers allegedly engaging in dangerous driving activity on Monday. 

According to the police report, around 8:45 Monday morning, Moose Jaw Police were told about a vehicle driving through the intersection of 9th and Highway 1, with the vehicle apparently travelling about 140 kilometres per hour. The driver was also reportedly texting while speeding. Police didn't find the vehicle but were able to talk to the owners. Turns out, their daughter was behind the wheel. Her parents told police that she has since lost her driving privileges.

Then at around 11:30 Monday night on the 1200 block of 9th NE another person was spotted driving at a high rate of speed. A plate number was obtained and police contacted the owners. Similar to the above case, these parents revealed their daughter was in possession of vehicle. Her parents said they would pass along a warning from police.
