Those looking to take a dip in the outdoor pool are going to have to wait a bit.

After news came out over the weekend that a water main break on Fairford street has temporarily closed the Phyllis Dewar Outdoor Pool. Director of Parks and Recreation Derek Blais addressed the situation on Monday night during the city council meeting. In a statement, the city said the pool will be closed until further notice.

The Crescent Park spray park is still running, however, the on-site washrooms are out of service due to the repairs. Porta-potties have been made available for the time being.

Repairs to the water main break will also impact the waterfall, fountains, and lighting within Crescent Park.

The City of Moose Jaw apologizes for any inconvenience and reminds those looking to swim that the Kinsmen Sportsplex is still open. You can book a time online on MooseJaw.ca, or by using the City of Moose Jaw app.
