A group of Peacock Collegiate High School students were able to share their passion for art and it's on display for the entire city to see.

The connections class at the local school, which is made up of over a dozen Grade 11 & 12 students created, designed and painted a mural at a local park.

The piece of art represents diversity in abilities, creativity, sports and more. They used a variety of colours and puzzle pieces to show their want for an inclusive community and now everyone can enjoy it.

"They poured their hearts and souls into it and it certainly shows," said Candace Varjassy, a teacher at the school. "Many of these young men and women are graduating from high school...and what a wonderful legacy they leave for our community."

The class were also thankful from the support they received from the city of Moose Jaw and the Police Service to execute this project.

The mural is proudly displayed on the side of a building at the Clark Gillies Park, which is just a short walk from the high school.
