The Moose Jaw Police Service conducted a vehicle check stop on the evening of July 16. 

Police located a suspicious vehicle on the east side of Moose Jaw and arrested the driver with outstanding warrants. 

After searching the vehicle, police found over two pounds of methamphetamine, with an approximate street value of $96,000.

Steven Hourie, 33 years old, of Moose Jaw, has been charged with the possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking. 

Hourie has been released with a future court date. 

Police also suspended the licences and seized the vehicles of two drivers who were impaired. A total of twelve tickets were issued for traffic offences during the check stop.
