There's one less headache for local drivers in town, especially those who utilize the north service roads parallel to Main Street.

The contractors who have been working consistently on the water supply transmission line from the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant to Moose Jaw are progressing along on Thatcher Drive. With that being said they've been able to open the North Service Road just to the west of Main Street, which has been blocked off for a number of weeks now.

When the disruption was first announced, crews had hoped to be completed by May 25th.

There's still signs and barricades in place; however, the intersection has been reopened.
