One death was reported in the south-central zone Tuesday, as 150 new cases of COVID-19, and 152 recoveries were also announced.

The one resident who died in the south-central zone was in their 60's.

Of the new cases, 3 are in the south-central zone, 91 in Regina, 12 in the northeast, nine in the northwest, eight are in Saskatoon, eight in the north-central, eight in the central-east, six in the southeast, one in the far northwest, one in the far north-central, one in the far northeast, and one in the southwest. One new case is pending resident information.

1,472 cases are considered active, with 52 of those located in the south-central zone.

Of those 52, 48 are located in the sub-region 'south-central 2', which is made up of Moose Jaw and the surrounding area.

152 people are in hospital with 126 receiving inpatient care, and 26 are in intensive care.

The government also reported late Monday that the drive-through vaccination clinic in Regina has been temporarily closed until they receive more of the AstraZeneca vaccine.

Residents aged 67 years and older however are still eligible to book their COVID-19 vaccination online or by phone.
