One person is dead following a collision involving two semis in the northbound lanes of Highway 11 about 10 kilometres north of Davidson.

An initial investigation determined at about 2 a.m. Monday morning, a northbound semi jack-knifed. A second semi traveling behind then collided with the first semi.

The two people in the jack-knifed semi did not report any injuries to police. The driver of the second semi, who was the lone occupant, was pronounced dead.

An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing by Craik RCMP and RCMP Collision Reconstruction.
