The province reported no new deaths and 94 new cases of COVID-19 Thursday along with 70 recoveries.

There are 87 people in hospital, nine people are in intensive care.

The South Central Zone is reporting seven new cases, Saskatoon is reporting 25 new cases, Regina is reporting 9 new cases, Central West Zone has 11 new cases, the North West Zone is reporting nine new cases, the North Central Zone is reporting seven new cases, North East Zone has five new cases, the far North West and the South East are reporting four cases, the South West Zone is reporting three new cases, the Central East Zone is reporting two new cases and the Far North East Zone is reporting one new case.

752 cases are considered active in the province and 43 of those are located in the sub-region 'south-central 2' which is made up of Moose Jaw and the surrounding area.

Second dose vaccination eligibility is open to residents age 45 and over, or anyone who received their first dose on or before May 1.

Vaccines Reported

An additional 15,402 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been given in Saskatchewan, bringing the total number of vaccines administered in the province to 937,737.

The 15,402 doses of COVID-19 vaccine reported today were administered to residents living in the following zones: Far North West, 225; Far North Central, 8; Far North East, 132; North West, 891; North Central, 1,423; North East, 318; Saskatoon, 4,545; Central West, 295; Central East, 1,051; Regina, 4,478; South West, 324; South Central, 479; and South East, 875.  There were 358 doses administered with zone of residence pending.

Seventy-nine per cent of those over the age of 40+ have received their first dose.  Seventy-four per cent of those 30+ have received their first dose.  Sixty-nine per cent of those 18+ have received their first dose, while sixty-eight per cent of those 12+ have also received their first dose.
