The Government of Saskatchewan has launched a new reservation website ahead of the 2021 camping season.

The reservation site, www.parks.saskatchewan.ca, will launch April 12, the same day as reservations for seasonal campsites for all parks that offer seasonal camping.

Nightly, camp easy, group, equestrian and rec hall reservations will be open for provincial parks including Buffalo Pound, Rowans Ravine, and Cypress Hills in the days after.

A full list of sites and the dates each site is open for reservations can be found below.

"After many months of preparation, we are pleased to be able to release our new campsite reservation system to the public," Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Laura Ross said. "This reservation system offers new amenities to customers and is quite different than in past years. This is a great opportunity for campers to become familiar with the new system making their reservation process a smooth one in the coming weeks."

Customers who would rather make a reservation over the phone can still do so by calling 1-833-775-7275.

Reservations begin every day at 7 a.m. and will no longer require customers logging in 20 minutes early to be placed in the queue.

Vehicle entry permits are also available to purchase online on the new site, or over the phone. Campers will have vehicle entry permits automatically added to their carts when making a reservation. Campers who are purchasing a daily or weekly entry permit can now print them from home, and annual permits can be picked up in-park.

Signage is in place throughout the parks to remind visitors of the safety protocols and public health guidelines. Parks staff will be implementing enhanced cleaning and sanitization procedures and minimizing in-park contact where possible.
