The resurfacing work on Nettle Place that started July 3rd and was supposed to take 2 days now won't be completed until the 13th of July.

Instead of the simple resurfacing job, road conditions now require complete removal of asphalt, base, sub base, compact and then it can be resurfaced with asphalt.

The work on Nettle Place stretches from Wintergreen Drive to the dead end, traffic signage and barriers will be in place to accommodate the disruption.

Residents are asked to park their vehicles on Wintergreen Drive during this time and refrain from watering their lawns during the repairs.

The work is part of a $3.6 million commitment by the City to repair Moose Jaw streets and roads.

The City thanks everyone for their patience while they work to rebuild infrastructure to ensure reliable services for residents.
