We've still got a few years to make a decision, but a recent promise may have swayed some voters.

On Monday when the province bumped up Saskatchewan's minimum wage, the NDP said if they're elected they would give the provincial number a substantial increase.

Just recently the Saskatchewan Government raised the minimum wage 10 cents an hour bringing it up to $11.06. Now, the NDP is saying if they find success in two years at the upcoming election they would phase in a $15 an hour minimum wage by the end of the first term, but only if the NDP win.

The leader of the Opposition Ryan Meili said the campaign style promise was decided on because he feels residents who are working full-time shouldn't be living in poverty.
