Two suspects will be in court Monday accused of shooting a 21-year-old man during a botched robbery in Moose Jaw this weekend.

According to police, Tyrus Ayerst was visiting a home on the northwest side of the city Friday when two people broke in just before midnight. The robbery gone wrong ended with at least one shot being fired and two people fleeing the scene.

Regina Police were able to arrest 20-year-old Sherwyn Pelletier the next day following a brief standoff while 24-year-old Thomas Redsky McNab was also arrested this weekend. Both will faces charges of second-degree murder, robbery as well as firearms-related offences when they appear in court Monday.
