"Into The Panto" is a musical fantasy adventure being performed at the Mae Wilson Theater. Opening night was last night, put there will be 4 more performances over the next 2 days.

Trudy Moffatt has been directing pantomimes here during the holidays for the last 11 years, and says this one is a lot of fun.

"It's a really fun show, because it's an adventure, as well as a musical, as well as incorporating all of the slapstick energy and audience participation that you can get in these kind of shows," Moffatt says.

She also stresses how important it is for families to go to shows like this together.

"By bringing your children and having a family experience, especially at Christmas time," said Moffatt, "It not only brings the family together, but also provides education for the kids to appreciate the arts as they get older."

In the show, fairytale characters like Little Red Riding Hood, Prince Charming, Mother Goose, the Good Fairy and more try to save Pantoland from extinction.

The musical stars Dan Falk and Stella Salido Porter along with Bradley Graham, Andy Trithardt, Sarah Sheps, and Kevin Power.

Tickets for the remaining shows are on sale now at the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre Box Office. "Into The Panto" runs until December 31st with afternoon and evening performances.
