$30,000 is about to land at the Moose Jaw municipal airport. The funding is part of $700,000 for the Community Airport Partnership program that helps smaller airports with annual upkeep and sometimes upgrades.

The Moose Jaw money will be use for crack sealing and replacement of an aerodrome beacon, according to the official release sent out by the province.

“Community and regionally-owned airports support vital services like air ambulance, law enforcement and firefighting,” Highways and Infrastructure Minister David Marit said. “We are pleased to be able to partner with 12 communities to upgrade and maintain their local community airports.”
