Moose Jaw Police continue to battle thieves taking items from vehicles, and in some cases thieves driving off with the vehicles.

There were two stolen vehicle reports within about an hour of each other early Sunday morning.

The first occured around midnight on the 200 block of Coteau St. W when a white 2014 Ford Fusion was stolen out of the complainant's driveway.  Then, at 1:35 police were called to the 500 block of Hochelaga St. W for a report of a Grey 1990 Isuzu pickup being stolen. 

In addition, there were 4 instances of robbers stealing items from vehicles, some of them unlocked, between Friday night and Sunday night.

A suspect in Sunday's incident on the 0 block of Fairford Street East was located and charged with theft and breach of probation.

Last week we told you that there had been 21 stolen vehicles and 35 reports of thefts from vehicles in Moose Jaw since September 1st.  Police remind you to lock your doors and do not leave keys or valuables in the vehicles.
