Water in the streets and records falling down.  It was a beautiful day Thursday as we enjoy a warming trend in the province.

Moose Jaw broke an all time record high for January 18th as we hit 8.4 degrees, just edging out the historical record of 8.3 set back in 1900.  Maple Creek was the provincial hot spot at 11 degrees with multiple records broken due to the heat.

While we get to enjoy the warmer weather, local roads and sidewalks are a bit on the slippery side. The freeze/thaw is causing the problems and there are a good number of icy sections out there today.  Pavement frost is adding to the concerns for pedestrians and motorists alike.
