Another wintry blast has hit Saskatchewan, despite what forecasters were saying to end the week. The forecast from Environment Canada had a lot of people looking forward to the weekend after spending the better part of two weeks shivering or stuck inside. But instead of getting a major warm up, another system of cold air settled in.

Monday started with an extreme cold warning as wind chill factors dipped below -40 across much of the province.  Warnings stretch from border to border and from Prince Albert down to the southern edge of the province.

As a result of the cold conditions, Prairie South, Holy Trinity and Cornerstone have cancelled their school buses for the day.
