The support in the community has been rising for many different demographics and Right to Life is partly to thank.

The group supports the rights and equality of the disabled, unborn and elderly.

President of Moose Jaw's Right to Life Jean Landry explains the origins of the group.

"This organization was started way back in about 1975, and through the years we have been a group that tries to promote the value of life, from conception to natural death."

That support also helps parents and they are always willing to help those in need in the community.

"We say to parents, and especially single parents, we support you, and the life of your baby, and if we can possibly help in any way we will."

Their support efforts have grown over the last year. They previously reached out to schools and organizations in the community like Transition House and the Multicultural Council among others. They have their goals set high now that they are spreading their messages to the community in general.

"Our future goal is to reach out to the elderly in care homes. We helped organize visits over Christmas, with several families visiting residents in a care home. And so, we would like to make these visits a regular opportunity."

Right to Life is hosting a couple of events on May 4th and 5th, at the Church of Our Lady Community Hall. There is also a clothing giveaway on Wednesday April 18th for infants to newborns at 6 pm.
