Coming to the Moose Jaw Cultural Center March 11th is Madison Violet, a Juno nominated duo who has just released a new album called 'Everythings Shifting'.

Madison Violet is comprised of Cape Breton native Lisa McIsaac and Kincardine native Brenley MacEachern.

McIsaac gave more detail about the bands' tour in Saskatchewan and abroad.

"I feel like we are going to see more of Saskatchewan than most of the people living in Saskatchewan. That's one of the perks of being a musician, you really get to discover all the nooks and crannies of the countries you go to. I think we have 13 or 14 shows, we were in La Ronge and we've spent about 8 hours on the highway driving through a blizzard and we just keep going from there. It's been really beautiful discovering all these new towns for us."

Madison Violet was founded 20 years ago, McIsaac detailed what it's like being in a band for so long.

"It's like marriage being in a band. I think we spend more time together than most people in relationships do because we go on the road for long stretches of time and we come home and still get together for writing but we are still the best of friends. I think we just luckily found the perfect fit."

The show starts at 7:30, and you can purchase tickets online or at the Moose Jaw Cultural Center box Office.
