You could be receiving more traffic tickets in the future.

The Moose Jaw Police Service is sharing information with the public in hopes of getting information out to residents about the new traffic bylaw, more specifically City Bylaw No. 5556.

Over the next few months the local Police Service will be shining a light on each section, sharing information with residents about proper driving and parking practices.

The following is a list provided by the Police from Section 23, stating no person shall park:

- for longer than 48 hours, where no other time limit posted
- within two metres of any curb crossing or driveway
- within five metres of a fire hydrant
- within six metres of an alley intersection
- within ten metres of a street intersection, unless permitted by an authorized sign
- within ten metres of a marked pedestrian crosswalk

The Police Service would also like residents to become familiar with the new bylaws, and anyone with questions can contact them or the city of Moose Jaw.
