One Moose Jaw girl has begun a fundraiser so she can head back to Toronto to further her singing career.

12-year-old Cadanse Herle has spent the last few months auditioning and was recently invited out west to record her own single.

"We signed with a Canadian agency, not long ago a record producer was working with them and he wanted to work with me. So we went to Toronto and met with [him] and now we are going back to Toronto to produce an original song," explained Herle.

Herle added that her dream started early on and she began practicing when she was a toddler.

"I've been singing ever since I could talk... singing in front of people is nice too, so you can see their reactions and to make people feel how I feel when I listen to music."

She is not only pursuing her own dreams, but she is also showing support to everyone to do the same.

"Everybody should be encouraged to do what they love and let nothing hold them back," said Herle.

She is hosting a fundraiser at the Conerstone restaurant in downtown Moose Jaw on December 17th from 5-9pm, where Herle will be singing for those in attendance in hopes to help with costs to get herself and her parents to Toronto.
