Vehicles in the ditch, snow in the fields and puddles all around. It was quite the weekend for weather in Saskatchewan as Autumn officially arrived.

Many areas of the province saw at least a few snowflakes but it was the Rosetown area that saw the most with over 15 centimetres being reports with 5-10cm being recorded in many other regions. Over in the east, there was hard rain from Regina to the Manitoba border with reduced visibility reported Sunday night due to the heavy downpour combined with fog.

There are still some slippery areas morning north of Moose Jaw after snow and rain this weekend. Highway 2, north of Buffalo Pound as well as Highway 11, heading to Saskatoon, saw some of the worst conditions this weekend. Conditions are improving but take your time and check the road report for the latest.
