Warren Michelson representative of the Saskatchewan Party looks back on the past year and says the most memorable moment was the opening of the new Wigmore Hospital.

Michelson says he feels successful and has many things to be proud of.

"Probably of my political career, in fact there's few MLA's that ever have a chance to open a hospital in their constituency. And I'm really appreciative of efforts that went into making this a reality in Moose Jaw."

With that being said Michelson explained a few of the obstacles the province had to overcome this year.

"And the revenue sharing for Moose Jaw has gone from 2.8 million in 2007 to 7.1 million in 2015. We give that money to the municipalities in the city and they use it to the best of their ability to where their greatest needs are."

Michelson's goal for the new year is to win and says he's looking forward to hitting the campaign trail soon.

"That's one thing that the premier is very adamant on is that we try and keep in touch with our people and the best way of doing that is going door to door and talking to them. We did a lot of that last year, we'll be doing a lot of that again as soon as the holidays and festive season is over."

The Moose Jaw North MLA is hoping to retain his seat in April's provincial election.
