Confirmed cases of measles are on the rise and so are the number of locations where people may have been exposed without knowing it.

There are now five confirmed cases of the infectious virus in Saskatchewan with 4 of them inside the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region. On top of that, there are still 10 to 12 suspected cases.

"If you have children in school, they obviously should have received two doses of MMR vaccine but if they haven't, the next weeks or months is the time to get them updated." said Saskatchewan Chief Medical Health Officer Dr. Saqib Shahab.

Earlier in the week, a list of locations and dates were released where unknown exposure could have taken place. Today, five more Regina businesses have been added to the list.
