Letting out a yeehaw, Mayor Fraser Tolmie is welcoming the One Horse Town Concert to the City of Moose Jaw this week by polishing his new belt buckle and dusting off his hat.

Tolmie is very excited about the event, saying it's a chance to showcase what the city has to offer. "One of the things that I've always wanted to do is to market Moose Jaw and really let people know in this country, and world wide, that we're a great place to come and visit and I believe this helps us."

"We've got such a great name, Moose Jaw, and a great city that goes with it and we've got a great brand, the Friendly City."

Tolmie had a custom belt buckle made for the event with a moose head that says Mayor of Moose Jaw around the edge.

15 Wing Moose Jaw is getting in the spirit of the One Horse Town event. The local airbase has confirmed that they are sending a CT 155 Hawk to do a fly past for the concert, around 6:10pm Friday.

The jet is expected to cruise over at about 500 feet to help kick things off.
