An incident in Moose Jaw, that ended in Herbert, lead to the arrest of a 24-year-old man from Maple Creek.

Wednesday night shortly before 7, the Moose Jaw Police Service responded to an incident on the 1700 block of Main Street North after a report of a male pointing a firearm at a taxi driver. Upon arrival, police were unable to find the suspect.

After further investigation, the suspect was identified, and with help from the RCMP, was arrested in Herbert, Saskatchewan.

The 24-year-old from Maple Creek has been charged with robbery, using a firearm in the commission of an offence, and several Breaches of Court Orders.
