A huge wind storm hit Moose Jaw on Tuesday October 17th.  You could find debris on roads and sidewalks throughout the friendly city from the storm that was so powerful it knocked down trees, damaged roofs and caused a variety of other problems.

At its highest, the wind hit 131 kilometers per hour, this is a stonger wind than some hurricanes.

The wind also blew in smoke from fires that burnt earlier in the day in southwest and west central Saskatchewan.  At it's peak, the fires caused the evacuation of the communities of Burstall and Leader.  Those evacuation orders have since been lifted.
