Moose Jaw-Lake-Centre-Lanigan Member of Parliament Tom Lukiwski is sounding the alarm bell about what he sees as a cover up of the SNC-Lavalin.

Calling it the SNC-Lavalin Affair, Lukiwski said Justin Trudeau inappropriately and potentially illegally tried to influence a criminal prosecution against SNC-Lavalin after the company lobbied the prime minister's office.

“It’s clear that Justin Trudeau is attempting to cover-up the SNC-Lavalin Affair and that his Liberal MPs are helping him,” said Lukiwski.

Justice Minister Jody Wilson-Reybould was shuffled out of the portfolio in the months following the justice department's denial of a deferred prosecution agreement.

Trudeau promised Canadians he would have an open and transparent governement, and Lukiwski said Trudeau is betraying that promise.

“The Prime Minister’s story keeps changing nearly every day. This fact, along with high-profile resignations and anonymously-sourced smear campaigns, suggests this is not your ordinary political scandal,” he added.
