The Moose Jaw Yellow Vest group is bundling up on Thursday night to support another team of like-minded people.

An inter-provincial convoy has hit the road and will be coming to a rest in Ottawa to send a message to the Trudeau government.

"Our movement is coast to coast. Why it's important is because we have to support these people, we're all pulling in the same direction," said Al Church, Spokesperson for Yellow Vest Moose Jaw. "The people in those trucks are all heroes and they're all putting up their own money to go there, be involved with this and I think as much support as we can give to them - the more the better."

Church said he didn't believe there were any Moose Jaw drivers in the convoy; they will be rallying their group and supporters to cheer on those who are traveling.

"We plan on getting as many people as possible out to show our support for them for their cause and their quest on to Ottawa. The whole point of this, the protest, is there's so many things the Trudeau government has done."

He said anyone who is interested in supporting their cause and showing up for the convoy can go to their meeting point and follow their team to the highway.

"It should be here between 7 pm - 9 pm. We have been in touch with them and our Yellow Vest Moose Jaw is going to be meeting out in front of the old Zellers store to begin with, and then we are going to be driving out to the TransCanada and we are going to set up kind of a viewing spot."

They will be stationed just off highway 1 near Prairie Oasis and Peanut Hills campground.

During a protest in front of City Hall back in December, Yellow Vest members could be seen wearing posters and signage saying 'no carbon tax, no UN Immigration Pact, no Trudope, and build the pipeline'.
