Writing a journal is a great way to keep records of thoughts, feelings, and experiences for not only you to remember later on, but others as well. That's why one local woman is encouraging others to document their experience living through a pandemic in journals so that those in the future can read about it and hopefully learn from what we are going through.

Janie Fries says she hopes to collect journals written during this pandemic from Moose Jaw residents, which she will then submit to the archives at the Moose Jaw Public Library.

"We all have different experiences, but I think that would be important information for people to have in the years to come. It's an opportunity I think to gather that information right now, the archives in the library would be a great place to hold all of those journal entries."

"I think people need to understand that what they're going through they might not this is important, but it will be important in the future. I just encourage them to write no matter what. Just whats going on in the world and in their lives."

Janie asks that anyone who decides to log a journal to email them her to once complete. You can reach Janie at janiefries@gmail.com
