Knight Ford Lincoln got into the Christmas spirit this week, as they helped ensure over 50 local families would have food over the holidays.

Each vehicle sale throughout the month of December helped the team reach their goal of $6,250, which all went to the Salvation Army, helping them purchase food hampers for those in need.

While they may have reached their goal and handed over the initial cheque, they're still collecting more donations from each vehicle sale this month, which will all be going to the Salvation Army as well.

A large number of stuffed animals was also collected through the Toy Days toy drive earlier this month, which was put on by Goldenwest Radio, Canadian Tire, and the Salvation Army. Each food hamper that will be given out will include a stuffed toy.
