After the dry conditions following seeding this year, many have welcomed the rain this past week, while it has caused delays in other areas such as construction.

Moose Jaw and areas woke up to wet streets and yards again to start the weekend.  At the north end of the city, the rain guage measured 2 millimeters in the 12 hour period from midnight Friday to noon Saturday that brought the total accumulation to 51 millimeters since June 1st.

The Moose Jaw area could see another 5 to 10 millimeters of rain which also includes the risk of a thunder storm before the clouds begin to clear out to start the work week. You can click on the long range forecast for more details.
