The Multiple Listing Service (MLS) System released numbers regarding residential house sales in the city earlier this week that showed in increase in housing sales compared to last year.

"We did see an increase in a number of residential sales for the Moose Jaw region, November [this year] versus November last year," said Rob Raynar, Manager of Operations with Regina Realtors. "We're not breaking any records right now but we're sure seeing steady market activity."

November 2017 saw 28 residential sales in Moose Jaw , compared to only 19 last year.

"Well the market conditions we're seeing right now tell us that sales and home prices are very stable for Moose Jaw and the surrounding Moose Jaw region," added Reynar. "The overall market for Moose Jaw, it's essentially remained at level over the course of the last 12 months. Really that's how we thought it would go this year, a little more steady as she goes."

The prices have remained steady this year, but residential prices are up slightly for the city. The MLS Home Price Index reported a residential benchmark price of $224,800. Again, this is only a slight increase compared to the rest of the year.
