Mother Natures paintbrush has been busy creating beautiful pictures for us over the last handful of days.

The image above was shared with us by Lynne Kyrylchuk Bowerin.  The phenomenon you're seeing is called rime frost.  It happens when cold air on the ground is met with warmer air just above causing ice to form when the moisture attaches to trees, signs, fences; almost anything.

As new weather systems move into the province this week the rime frost will disappear.

Enjoy it while it's here.
