On Friday a number of Saskatchewan Polytechnic students and staff, along with family and friends, headed west of the Friendly City to celebrate.

They held a convocation ceremony that highlighted graduates' accomplishments and hard work. In attendance at the celebration were Lieutenant Governor W. Thomas Molloy, one of Moose Jaw's MLAs Warren Michelson, and many others, who took the podium to wish the graduates well in their futures.

Sask Polytechnic serves 28,000 students across 4 campuses in Moose Jaw, Prince Albert, Regina, and Saskatoon.

The ceremony was held at the Hildebrand Chapel in Caronport.
